Originally from Cuba, a talented artist, Cual did many of the posters on these pages. He played hand percussion in the park (and on the McGill campus) and in a variety of formal and informal musical groups including Larry and His Fabulous Tornados. A self-taught philosopher, during these years he was trying to read everything of lasting value in chronological order. (Here, he's pictured with his sister).
