Cual stayed in  Park Avenue in Montreal. Cual spent many years working in community organizations serving immigrants, was the director of Spanish programming for Radio Centre-Ville (1975-80), and then worked doing international aid and community outreach for the YMCA. From 1995, he was an independent consultant in diversity management. In 2004, he was hired by a coalition called ACCESSS working on the prevention of conjugal and family violence. He continued to read philosophy and other 'heavy' books, though no longer in strictly chronological order. Check his poetry, art, etc at pascual-delgado.ca.
