In the 1970s, Alan had a series of relationships with women who changed their names. Christine became Iris. This is Crescent, who reclaimed her birth name Leanne, then moved to LA to follow her guru. Later, Alan moved to Vancouver with Louise Sloan who became Fruma. While it may be interesting to speculate on why women in relationships with Alan seemed to need to change their names, for the past 25 years, Alan has been married to Linda, who hasn't felt the same need.                            1973 Crescent.jpg
