Ron and Martha are still together, have two grown daughters, and live a few blocks from Alan and Linda in Vancouver. (Alan's daughter and one of their daughters went to high school together-- small world). When they shared a house with Alan in 1972, Ron was an instructor at Vanier College. Now, he's president of Vancouver's Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design, author of 3 books (including 2004's "How Images Think") and over 150 articles in the fields of art, design, media, communications, and cultural studies.
