Bob Bardston became artist in residence at Alberta's Medicine Hat College, and instructed strings and voice at the University of Lethbridge. He held five degrees, including a doctoral equivalent in Cello Performance, and won a wide range of awards, and been the subject of a documentary film: "Robert Bardston: The Bard's Son".  2014 article on Bob and here's a 2018 18 minute video tribute. An HIV/AIDS survivor, Bob died in June 2018.
