Bob Bardston is now artist in residence at Alberta's Medicine Hat College, and also instructs strings and voice at the University of Lethbridge. He holds five degrees, including a doctoral equivalent in Cello Performance, has one a wide range of awards, and been the subject of a documentary film: "Robert Bardston: The Bard's Son".
