Still not really a cigar smoker, though a stogie was often used as a prop for the Jersey Slim shtick. Today, Alan is in Vancouver, teaching computers at an elementary school and writing about technology for a variety of Canadian business and computer publications. He still plays music, has been married for over 25 years, and has two kids in their 20s. He has started travelling more; this photo was taken in December 2004 in Cuba. He still doesn't inhale.
